Obama Care Plans

By now everybody in the united states knows what Obamacare is and also knows what kind of controversy the Affordable Care Act has caused. Depending on where you live, whether you're a male or female, and your income amount will determine which plans you qualify for under Obamacare. It will also determine how much you are going to pay for your health insurance which means you must sign up individually each year to see what you qualify for, especially if you are signing up a whole family which will you can expect to be a different plan than what your neighbors family would receive.

We also know by now that if you do not sign up by the deadline each year that it requires then you will be charged a fee. The fee changes every year and for 2017 it will be $695 per adult or 2.5% of your income. The sad part is that the government will take whichever one is higher. For the 2017 enrollment you must enroll by December 15, 2016 in order to have coverage that begins at the first of the year.

If you're worried about the amount you're going to pay, all it takes is a sign up to find out exactly what you qualify for. Six out of ten Americans have been able to afford health coverage at $100 or less since Obamacare began. The average cost as of right now per plan is about $80 a month.

No matter who you are you're going to have your own opinion about the Affordable Healthcare Act but the one thing that everybody needs to agree on is that everybody is entitled to equal health care no matter how low on the economic ladder. For those of you who don't like the program because of whatever reason, be patient because all good things start off with the kinks before their perfected. For more info click on Obama Care plans.
